Introduction
Situated in the grounds of James and Carolyn’s Grade II listed 18th Century stone farmhouse, Pasture Cottage provides 4 star self catering family accommodation, one mile from Wolsingham village, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. - To appreciate the surrounding area, a car is essential

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
- Detailed directions to Pasture Cottage will be sent on confirmation of booking
- Arrival is anytime after 4pm. Collection of key and welcome tour of cottage are arranged on confirmation of booking.
- Private entrance
- Parking for up to three cars directly outside cottage
- Three steps to main doorway of cottage
Main Entrance
- Doorway to cottage is narrow. The building dates back to the 18th century. Due to the age and nature of the building, sadly, Pasture Cottage is not suitable for wheelchairs or the infirm.
General (Internal)
- Smoke alarms are fitted in the cottage.
- Central heating throughout - thermostatically controlled radiators
- Mobile phone reception
- A high standard of cleanliness throughout
Sitting Room
- Curl up in the cosy sitting room around the log burning stove. Logs and sticks are provided.
- Television, with DVD player and video recorder ; Radio with CD and cassette player.
- Comfy sofas. Reading lights.
Laundry
- There is a front loading washing machine in the cottage kitchen. As the cottage has its own filter system, only non biological powder may be used. This is provided.
- A tumble dryer is available on request.
- A rotary line dryer is provided for outside.
- A drying rack is provided
Shops
- The nearest shops are in Wolsingham village, one mile from cottage. 15 minute walk from cottage. These include a Spar shop which is open 7 days a week until 10pm; a Post Office & Barclays bank with ATM.
- Pub – 10 minute walk from cottage.
- Internet access is available at the Library in Wolsingham market place
- 24 hour Petrol is available in Stanhope village – 10 minute drive from cottage

- Books, Games, Videos and DVDs are provided
- Games Room - including table tennis and table football
- Indoor heated swimming pool and children’s recreation ground in Wolsingham village.

- Garden furniture provided including table, chairs and parasol

- 1 double bedroom and one twin bedroom in Pasture Cottage
- Additional double bedroom with ensuite bathroom – The Garden Room - available to rent separately)

- Non allergenic bedding available on request
- Please bring travel cots for babies

- The Pasture Cottage website is designed to help the visually impaired.
- No smoking in Pasture Cottage or The Garden Room
- Children and babies welcome
